Campaign Overview
Creative Capital approached the Devine campaign with a brand-first strategy built around three principles: recognition, trust, and momentum. Every design decision was made to ensure voters would see the brand once, remember it, feel confident in the candidate, and sense a campaign already winning.
The South Carolina State Capitol dome became the visual anchor of the identity, a symbol of where Tameika was headed and what she was fighting for. The direct mail program was structured as a three-piece series that moved voters from introduction to the issues to Election Day action.

The Challenge
Tameika entered the District 19 race as a well-known and respected figure in Columbia. The challenge was not name recognition. It was translating her decades of public service and legal expertise into a visual brand that communicated it all instantly across a mailbox, a front lawn, and a social media feed.
The campaign also needed to move fast. Local races run on compressed timelines and lean budgets with no room for a slow creative process. Creative Capital was brought in to build a brand worthy of the candidate and get it into the field quickly.

The Challenge
Brand Identity
The color system pairs campaign navy and campaign red with clean white for clarity and contrast. Typography is set in Barlow Condensed throughout, giving every piece a strong, confident voice that works across print, digital, apparel, and signage.
Community Outreach
Creative Capital produced a full suite of campaign assets built to work together as one unified system. The three-piece direct mail series introduced Tameika to voters, communicated her platform across education, public safety, and family rights, and closed with a high-urgency GOTV piece designed to drive turnout on Election Day.
Yard signs blanketed the district with a consistent, visible brand presence. Campaign t-shirts, buttons, palm cards, and door hangers gave volunteers everything they needed to carry the campaign into every neighborhood in District 19.

Tameika Isaac Devine won the South Carolina State Senate District 19 special election and was sworn in as one of the first six female state senators in South Carolina history. The Creative Capital brand system delivered a unified, professional campaign presence across every voter touchpoint from the first mailer to the yard signs on Election Day.
The Devine campaign is the clearest example of what Creative Capital exists to do: bring national-caliber design to a local race, help a great candidate look like the winner before a single vote is cast, and deliver work that holds up long after Election Day.
